Oahu Pictures - Waterfalls
Oahu Pictures - Waterfalls - Oahu isn't known for its multitude of waterfalls like Maui is, which is waterfall paradise, with countless waterfalls and pools around every corner along the road to Hana tour.
However, there are plenty waterfalls on Oahu as well. Here just a few:
Manoa Falls - Most popular on Oahu, with high falls and shallow pool. One mile hike.
Waiakeakua Falls - Close to Manoa Valley, nice pool and waterfalls. Muddy trail, one mile hike.
Sacred Falls, Hauula - Trail closed due to a tragic accident where people were killed by a huge rockslide.
Waiomao Stream, Palolo Valley at the end of Waiomao Road - Small pool below first waterfall. Beyond first waterfall is another waterfall.
Likeke Falls - 30-foot waterfall below Pali Lookout and accessed via Likeke Trail. With deep pool, great for swimming. Starting from Pali Lookout, the hike is approximately 3 miles roundtrip.
Lower Lulumahu Falls - Nice falls but shallow pool. Access restricted. Trail starts at upper end of Nuuanu Pali Drive off Pali Highway.
Malaekahana Falls - Nice pool and falls. Access via the Malaekahana Trail.
Laie Falls - Great pool and falls. Access via the Laie Trail. Short, steep descent to waterfall after about 2.5 miles of hiking.
Upper Lulumahu Falls - Rather difficult access from the Konahuanui Trail - Small pool, waterfalls.
