Oahu Pictures - Ko Olina Beach - is nineteen miles west of Pearl Harbor, just passed Makakilo on the H1 freeway, is the alluring Ko Olina Resort & Marina, a 642- acre vacation and residential community near Barbers Point. One of the newest resorts in Hawaii. This area was once a favorite playground of the ancient Hawaiians and is becoming again popular today.
Ko Olina Beach Park is placed at northern tip of Barbers Point Harbor, with views of the Waianae Mountains as a backdrop. There are four small man-made lagoons with sandy white beaches, and calm tropical warm waters along resort style coastline from Barbers Point Harbor to Makaiwa Beach Park. The Aulani Disney Resort just opened its doors along this coast in 2011. Within walking distance are paradise destination activities such as ocean front golfing, snorkel trips, dolphin and whale watching, sport fishing, scuba diving.
