Maui Pictures - Hawaiian Luau Show
Maui Pictures - Hawaiian Luau Show - Luau shows have long been a favorite activity for visitors to the Hawaiian Islands. Hawaiian kings would host visitors and foreign dignitaries by throwing a luau. The largest luau of modern record was thrown by King Kamehameha III in 1847 and included over 1,500 guests, 271 hogs and a bountiful spread of chicken dishes, fish, tropical fruits and desserts. Today, there are many popular luaus on Maui at hotels and resorts. Some of the best include: The Old Lahaina Luau, The Feast at Lele, Kaanapali Sunset Luau at Sheraon, the Hyatt Regency Luau and Maui Prince Sunset Luau in Wailea, Makena.
