I would've liked more background information on the boat and what it's capabilities are- the captain was a little quiet.

It's a great boat and the crew is knowledgeable and capable. We totally were turned off by the captain and the fact that he tried to use up time by looking below the boat 'at coral' [??]and circling as we approached the harbor 10 minutes early. Total BS. 'Snacks' were vending machine cookies and crackers. :(

The best sailing ever, a true value I would have paid more for that experience!

This was the best excursion we have been on! We have done many excursions in the Caribbean and felt this was the best. Awesome bargain and awesome experience!

This was a lot of fun, and the crew was great.

Let patrons know they should wear clothing suitable for getting it wet

I think wearing life vests would be a good idea.

Not really they were great and we had a good time.

Offer a longer sail than 2 hours.

I loved every moment of it.....wish it was longer.

Although it was a nice quiet ride, we were a little disappointed. We had been on sailboat races in St. Thomas and it was so action packed and everyone got to be involved. This was relaxing but a little too relaxing!

Great experience. Never would have chosen on my own (land-lubber), but this was recommended by a friend. I found your company by googling teh America II.

It was a wonderful experience which I would recommend to everyone and I will definitely do it again on my next trip to Maui.

Excellent value, found it hard to hold on for entire time while on starboard (high)side on starboard tack in trade winds. Boating shoes/sneaks should be allowed otherwise somehwat painfull.

I would Not recommend this activity for children under 12 or people over 60. For the rest is a lot of fun but be prepared to get soaking wet !

They were well organized, informative, but gave time to just enjoy the voyage. There was not much wind when we went out, so they gave everyone a wind check to return and try again on a breesier day

Awesome sailing adventure; great wind; great crew!

I enjoyed the crew. the sailing time was too short. Spent much of it motoring.

The overwhelming majority of the activity is getting to and from the area where we sailed. It was a lot of time for a little bit of actual sailing.

More crew interaction on explaining the sailing would have been nice. once we were underway, they pretty much kept to themselves

Remind those employees out on the boat that there is an entertainment aspect to their work. They can use the 30 minutes motoring out and back from the point that they start their sail to inform the customers of the parts of a sail boat, the history of America II, key aspects of sailing, opportunities for sailing in Hawaii, etc.. To simply give some terse instruction and sit back and talk to each other as opposed to the customers for the first 30 minutes of the motoring to the sailing point was a wasted opportunity at best.

I enjoyed the sail but the guys who led our sail kept us tacking at full speed for too long(20+ minutes) By the time we slowed down and turned around, those on the low side were drenched and cold and those on the high side were sore from hanging on to the rope for so long. They could have easily tacked at full speed for 10 minutes and then given us a little break. The sail back to harbor was much more relaxed and pleasant. You should inform everyone to wear a bathing suit and provide a "dry bag" for wallets, etc.

A thrill ride & super soaker! Leave your nice camera at the hotel and bring a waterproof one. Wear a bathing suit and bring a change of clothes and a towel. Have fun!

None. Had a great time. If anything, tell the people to bring cushion to sit on.

The trip was excellent. The wind was strong and the boat was very sturdy and fast. We saw a number of whales and the crew even caught a Mahi off the stern!

WE had a lot of fun - as desert dwellers this was our first time on a sail boat.

We didn't know where to park the car in town, but other than that, EVERYTHING else dealing with America II and with HawaiiActive was EXCEPTIONAL. We might recommend that the dockside booth have a lockbox that people can place their non-waterproof cameras and wallets with, instead of handing it to the dockside tickettaker. It would give a better "feeling" of security for passengers if those were available -- similar to the lockers at an airport where you can store valuables for less than a $1. Service, attitude, and anything else one cold hope for, was truly top-notch.

You might want to advise prospective clients that they will get WET!
