Make sure your bathrooms are working on the bus. Overall it was a very good tour. Our tour guide was excellent and did go out of her way to make sure we hit bathrooms often. She also does a mean Hula dance and actually can sing well!

Start later in theday and end after twilight so participants can see more of the volcano flow rather then just steam.

Skip the Orchid stop.

The tour begins very early. Given that the scene at the lava entry into the ocean would have been spectacular after dark I think the tour should be shifted timewise to end at the ocean just after dark (7:30?)

The experience was wonderful. My kids had a great time. We thought we were going to see some volcanic flow. The information on the website led us to believe that we would see lava flow. The experience was a great one and now my son who is going into 5th grade can talk about it when they study volcanos.

We would have likes to have more time at the spots that we stopped at.

Our driver/guide, Angie Santiago, was very knowledgable and also very personable. I enjoyed her narration and her effort to personally engage each passsenger. She worked hard to give us a great tour.

The guide, Harry was exceptional. He really knew his stuff. He made it a very enjoyable day.

I would have loved it if I had actually gotten to see molten lava flowing!

The guide that we had not only showed us the volcanoe but gave us the most wonderful synopsis and history of the island. I learned things from her that I would not have learned from anywhere else.

Skip the orchid farm, etc. Spend time at Volcanoes N.P. Visitor center.

Personally I would have spent more time at the Volcanoes NP than leaving earlier to do the orchids and nut farm - if a tour had been available with just the park and a longer hike out to the lava I would have definately selected that. Was a great trip however, and I enjoyed the people and the tour guide was excellent. Thank You.
