Gary was the perfect guide. He had energy, was very knowledgeable and we felt like we got his all from the day.

We totally enjoyed our guide, Derek, and have nothing but rave compliments for him. He absolutely made the trip a wonderful memory.

Guide was wonderful.

The guide was very knowledgeable, the tour was AWESOME, and very educational. Really appreciated him taking us "off the beaten path".

sadly we did not see the lava flow

This is a long trip: About twelve hours long. However, credit where credit is due: Our guide (Danny) was informative, polite, and mindful of the time. He did however chat non stop (which to me was telling of this man's immense stamina). My wife however, found it annoying. The sites he took us to were certainly off the beaten track. They were worth the money. All in all we had a great time with lots of good photos. Be warned however: We did not see any "live" lava. There hasn't been any for some years apparently.

We sat in the very back oc the van and sometimes it was difficult to hear what was being said or questions that were asked by those in the front.

We all thought our guide was very informed. Our disappointment was that we did not see any lava flow.

Our guide was Gary-very friendly & knowledgable. We had awesome weather-no rain! We learned more about the volcanoes & saw more than we could have on our own.

The guide was very informative, but it was quite a long day and the guide never seemed to quit speaking and just let us enjoy the view. 12 hours of sustained narration was just too much.

I would have liked to know ahead of time when breakfst would be, so I could have got a coffee and small snack.

This was an extremely informative 12 hours complete with laughs and good food. Our guide, Keith, was just superb and provided more knowledge than would fit in our brains.

I mailed a note to our guide, Keith. Does anyone there know if he received it? He did a super job with our tour - I included a note indicating how much we enjoyed the day.

The overall experience was quite ok and the tour guides were good, but we would rather take the volcano hike rather than hiking inside some bushes to see ferns and ginger root. We were so looking forward for the volcano hike down the volcano crater road although we knew we wouldn't be able to see any red lava. We were just told at the last minute that we were out of time and that no red lava would be seen and therefore we were not walking there... Quite disappointed.

Excellent charter, knowledgeable guide. One of the best charters I've ever experienced. A fantastic way to see another side of Hawaii.

our guide was great. very informative and fun. the only sad part was not seeing active volcanoes, but overall was really cool.

I have to mention a special word about your tour guide Keith. He made the entire experience on the Big Island that more enjoyable. He is extrememely well versed on the island and tought us a lot, things we would have never known on our own. He was professional yet personal and we truly enjoyed his enthusiasm. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone who visits the The Big Island in the future. The only recommendation we would have is to have all the folks touring meet at your facilities in order to give more time for touring as an hour passed just in picking up other folks.

Our tour guide was amazing. He made the ten just pass by. He was knowledeable, stopped so we could take pictures of rainbows and donkeys. He was great.

Kieth was fantastic and very knowledgeable. I studied geology at university, however my husband has no science background and learnt a lot. More time to stop for photos would have been appreciated.

We had the most incredible time. The highlight of our trip to Kona. Keith is an amazing guide. This trip is a must do on the Big Island.

Hawaii Forest & Trail was an excellent company and we very much enjoyed our tour w/them. We would definitely book additional tours w/them if we returned to Hawaii

Though we enjoyed the tour and would recommend it we feel that your online advertising is a little misleading on what will or can be seen.

Christina was an absolutely wonderful guide -- interesting, knowledgable, friendly. The four of us (immediate family) that took this tour all had the same impression at the end -- it did not feel like a twelve-hour tour at all. We all look forward to taking more tours through your agency.
