Time allowed to get a snack at the Missouri was good.

We had a great time. Our tour guide knew alot about this activity and would recommend it to everyone.

Allow more time for the Pearl Harbor portion since it is so busy; did not feel that we had ample time to visit the museum; less time for the USS Missouri

We had an excellent and a very knowledgable guide. We also went on several tours and this tour was the best.

The guide was wonderful and made the trip truly enjoyable.

A special mention goes out to our tour guide, Nappy. He was educational, funny, and entertaining. It was very clear that he was proud to show-off his island to us visitors. Nappy was a great ambassador for the state of Hawaii. Thank you for a great tour.

A guide can make or break the tour.

An amazing day to go to Pearl Harbor (12/07/06). The afternoon tour of Honolulu was unexpected and we were too tired at that part of the day to enjoy it.

Visit to Punchbowl turned into only a very brief drive through which was not worth it.

Very comprehensive tour..loved the guide and had a wonderful time while absorbing all the history pearl harbor has to offer.

We were disappointed that after the tour at Pearl Harbor instead of our tour guide letting us get lunch there he loaded us onto the bus and took us to McDonalds for a 20 minute stop. We felt that we did not come all the way to Hawaii to eat fast food. We would have rather spent our money at Pearl Harbor than have to eat fast food. Our friends are taking the same tour (on our suggestion) next month and we already informed them to bring their own snacks. Also, everyone was so exhausted from the WONDERFUL tour of pearl harbor, that the extra 2 hour tour of Punchbowl and downtown Honolulu, seemed a bit much. A tour without those to locations would be great and we would take the tour again if that was offered. All and all we really enjoyed the first part of the tour and are glad we signed up with Hawaii Active. Our guide was very organized and we got to see a lot of nooks and crannies because of his skills.

Guide on USS Missouri would not speak loud enough for us to hear, even after asking him to speak louder.

In fact, the driver missed to pick me up for this activity, I had to book for the next activity which is less USS Missouri. I believe I deserve refund for the difference, but no one did contact me. For the other tour it was nice I had fun, but still I missed going to USS Missouri as my schedulle was full and I had no other chance to replace it.I had about six tours with your agency, all of them were satisfactory (actually very good) except for this tour the driver did not pass by my hotel, and I was waiting almost ten minutes before the schedulled time.

We did have a little difficulty with our guide on board the USS Missouri. We reported it to your guide. The guide on the Missouri Tour spoke softly and only spoe to those at the head of the group. He never waited for the rest of the group to catch up before he started sharing information. This happenend repeatedly. What little we did hear from him, he was very knowledgeable. When we went into the ship (single file because of the corriders), by the time the last ones got in with the rest of our group he was finished speaking and was moving on. Those of us at the end had to look briefly at things or get left behind. Our group of 6 finaly did get left behind and just went down to the main entrance and waited on the others as we did not know where they had gone to. Other than this dissapointment, the tour was great. Your guide was great also.

Cousin Tiny is the BEST, he is very friendly and extremely knowledgeable. We were on many other Polanienan Adventure Bus Tours and Tiny is the BEST!!!!!

We would have liked to tour the submarine also. Otherwise everything was great.

Suggest that you also provide an option for airport pickup since the airport is relatively close to the Missouri, Arizona Memorial and Pearl Harbor. I ended having to spend an additional $30 for cab fare to get to a hotel pickup point.

Our tour guide on the bus and on the USS Missouri were great!

Was a very informative and interesting tour.

Felt rushed at the Arizona Memorial. Did not have enarly enough time to see he museum.

The directions for meeting up with the bus driver upon completing the tour was unclear.

I was really glad that someone who knew the procedure took us -- we were one of the first groups over to the Arizona. Our guide was very courteous and helpful

The Arizona Memorial was very moving. Good information, a bit rushed at the actaul site. The Mighty Mo was very impressive.

The tour bus driver had great Aloha spirit, he made the whole trip exciting and pointed out places of interest to and from the tour, I would definately recommend this to all my friends. Had a great time.

Nappy was an excellent host and guide.

We felt that more time was needed to look around. Time visiting the Arizona was sufficient, but time available for looking around the grounds,( shops, outdoor information areas, etc) needed more time.

It rained that day and we did not get to see the memorial nor the missouri, our bus guide was very nice and took us to the punchbowl cemetary.

The morning we were to meet the bus, I misunderstood and thought the bus was picking us up across the street from our hotel. We went down at 6:20 to find we had to walk 6 or 7 blocks to the Royal Hawaiian. We got to the pickup point at 6:35; the bus was still there, but the driver would not talk to us or let us on the bus. The company had to send another bus to pick us up and take us to meet the bus that left us. The entire day the driver was extremely concerned with making sure he was precisely on schedule. He was very knowledgeable and professional otherwise, but he made the day extremely stressful for me.

Our guide was very knowledgable about the the entire tour and the City of Honolulu, plus he had a great sense of humor. We were educated and entertained the entire day. We'd recommend this tour to anyone visiting Oahu.

Don't keep the tourists hanging round too long for pointless briefings by the guide, having travelled from england to see Pearl Harbour - we wanted to see it, not listen to somebody tell us once, twice, 3 times that we need to meet him at 10.50 at a signpost! Needless to say we stayed at Pearl Harbour and made our own way back to the hotel later than the tour after all the waiting around listening to briefings!

The only problem with this tour was the long lines to get into the Arizona Memorial. I realize this is out of your control since it is such a historical attraction and emotional.

wasted to much time in line to enter, the line was down at 11:00 which would have made it easier or maybe go see the USS Missouri first, then see pearl harbor, then around 1 or so go see Arizona

Very good guide (Rongo). Well organized tour with knowledgable folks.

Seemed somewhat rushed from place to place. Enjoyed our guide.

I was surprised at how many people had also purchased tickets in advance. I thought we would go right in. I did not realize that we had to wait in line for over an hour just to obtain our seating time (7AM). As their was time, we would have taken our food from the bus with us to eat. We ended up purchasing from the snack shop. Maybe, you should mention in the brochure that their may be a short wait time. Otherwise, it was enjoyable.

I wish other visitors had followed the rules of silence while at the memorial - it was very loud.

I felt that this was mainly a transportation bus and not really a tour. We felt rushed and that the driver was not prepared. We did have a great time at Pearl harbor.

The guide didn't do a very good job of keeping the group together. We ended up waiting over 30 minutes for people to return to the bus.

Roy was very knowledgable, kind, and funny on our trip. We enjoyed having him as our guide. He also came around to each person as we were waiting in line at the Arizona Memorial and talked with all of us. Customer service with Roy gets an A +! Thank you!

driver,michael at end of dropoff,became irritated at me and another passenger because we did not hear him ask if the people from our particular hotel were still on board.where would we have gone.i was busy watching the sights as he was dropping passengers off at the various hotels.He became obnoxious,and offensive to me.this was to me a 'history buff' the most anticipated event of the trip.the info given by the driver,and the confusion on taking the trolley from ford island back to the bus area,with some of the same company's busses right there on ford island,was aggravating.'hawaii active' needs to tighten up,not hang loose.

Our driver was excellent, his name was Ed.

.Did not have enough time on the Missouri due to time restraints, Had to eat on the run. But overall, was very good.

My tour guide was the greatest. He kept us well in formed at a very nice pace. I don't think there was ever a time that I lost interest in the tour. I would do it again. Thanks for everything you did to my trip a dream come true

Teaymour was an excellent guide! He made the whole experience a possitive one for my husband and I! If we ever get the chance to visit again, I hope he will be our guide!

Guide was very knowledgeable about the activities and the area. He was also a very good driver and fun person to be with.

Many hotels in the Waikiki area are close enough that everyone could meet at a central location. But then again, I'm sure it's attractive to say "direct hotel pickup"

our transportation was late we went with some guy in a van. So we had no guide for pearl harbor.We were held at the gate of the Missouri for 35 min or more waiting for our guide. when we joined up with him the touir was very nice.

More leg room on bus. Other than that, the overall tour was fun and educational.

People probably need to know that it is rather difficult getting something to eat on this activity & that they should bring a snack to tide them over.

Our guide -Tymor was amazing. He definately MADE the tour! He was informative, friendly, and told us exactly what we need to know to make the best of the tour. His knowledge of the local history, and info regarding the tour definately makes him the best.

Ed was outstanding as a guide and a source of information concerning the history of the Pearl Harbor facts surronding the Arizona Memorial & the USS Missouri. It was like sitting through a history class while actually visiting the sites!

There should be more coordination between buses picking up customers at the same spot. Very confusing when there are so many buses that look alike.

The only comment I have...on the day we went, the driver had about 10 stops to make. We were all told we would be picked up at 7 am. He arrived at our hotel early an seemed to be irritated that we were not out waiting for him. Some of the later passengers had to wait and they were frustrated they had to wait so long. The tour company has you call the day before to confirm where you are to be picked up at. Maybe they could give you better times to be ready if they know they have a lot of stops to make. The tour was wonderful.

Don't tell people that you are not allowed to have cameras or video cameras, like you told me. My father was in Pearl Harbor and I have no pictures of it now because your agent told me i wasnt allowed any type of camera.

Garfield was our guide, he was absolutely perfect, so full o knowledge and yet he kept everything in perspective for us.

long wait for arizona. we would have like to go earier, so that we didn't have to wait as long
