No, very nice
I was quite disappointed that we did not get to see the whales closer. All we saw was a few breaches far away. We have seen them that close from the shore.
Clarify to customers which boat they are booked on. We thought we were on Navatek but no reservations found; we were on the Star. Speakers on all decks so all passengers can hear crews comments. Smooth seas and an exciting time; saw two pods!
Asked to be Checked in before 8 am parking lot not open and we stood around and didn't board until 8:30. And then stood in long lines for everything. The Japanese people seemed to have special treatment we were hurdled like cows. 2 hours we couldn't wait to get off this boat. Do not pick this for a whale watching experience. Find a smaller boat, less people and you can get closer to the whales for better photos!
We paid for the meal as well as the trip and was disappointed we had to pay extra for a soft drink. However it was great fun and exciting to see whales.
