This excursion features the closest approach to the recent lava flows allowed by Civil Defense and local authorities. Travel with a knowledgeable tour guide in a comfortable air-conditioned deluxe coach bus.

Just as it was for Mark Twain over a century ago, this is truly the experience of a lifetime! Our trained guides will escort you, and if conditions permit, you may be able to go right to the edge of a 2000-degree F molten lava flow!
NOTE: Lava viewing conditions change daily. If inland flows are present, and you use caution, you may have an opportunity to see fresh lava close up. On occassion, the best approach involves hiking over rough, uneven lava surfaces.

Duration: 16 hours
Days of Operation: 7 days a week
Time: Waikiki hotel pickup at approx. 4:30am, return to Honolulu at approx. 8:30pm.
Children: Ages under 12 pay reduced price
Required: Sturdy, covered walking shoes required due to terrain. All passengers will be required to sign a release of liability form before departing hotel.
Suggested: We suggest a light sweater or jacket for the volcano area. As we cannot predict weather and volcanic activity, features may vary daily depending on conditions.
