Kalaupapa Hike - Once the ferry lands on Molokai, you'll be taken via shuttle to the Kalae trailhead where your guided hike will begin. Enjoy amazing views as you hike down a 1700' sea cliff on a 2.9 mile switchback trail to the Kalaupapa National Historic Park. A local guide will give an informative narration and share unbelievable stories of struggle and suffering which were overcome by great courage and love. You'll visit Father Damien's St. Philomena Church and his gravesite. Next, it's time for a scrumptious deli-style lunch with your choice of Turkey, Ham or Vegetarian Sandwiches.

Note: Tuesdays only, all guests MUST sign Waiver of Liability before participating in the hike. Must be a minimum of 16 years old, comfortable with hiking and in good physical condition.
Alii Tour — After a ferry ride from Maui to Molokai, climb aboard an air conditioned, comfortable van for a cultural tour of Molokai. A local Hawaiian resident will be your guide and share with you the native knowledge and wonders of this "Most Hawaiian Island." Enjoy the beautiful views of Palaau State Park and Kalaupapa Overlook. Learn the rich history of Kaunakakai Town and the Father Damien Church.

Discover the local flavors at the Macadamia Nut Farm and Coffees of Hawaii. Also included are a continental breakfast and a delicious local-style lunch featuring your choice of Teriyaki Chicken, Teriyaki Beef or Veggie Burger.

Of the week we spent on Maui, our Molokai trip was a real highlight; Van, our driver, was so very personable and kind, and really gave a great "snapshot" of life on Molokai. Wouldn't have traded it for anything! Mahalo to all of you and to Van!

The island was beautiful and I was very happy that I chose to do this activity. However, by the time we got to the island and got our car, we only had roughly 5 hours to spend on the island. I also did not enjoy the boat ride over to the island, the boat was rocking back and forth for most of the ride.

The boat ride was really really choppy (not anyone's fault) other than that it was a great experience. Wish we had had a map and things to do and go to on Molokai.
