America II Cup Sailing
How many chances will you get to feel the thrill of sailing an actual America's Cup Contender? Sail with us for the exhilaration of a performance sail, the romance of a Maui sunset and even whale sightings in season.
America II challenged Dennis Connor of Star and Stripes in Fremantle, Australia in 1987. The first American 12-meter with the now famous winged keel, America II is one of the world's fastest racing hulls.
Today she proudly sails from historic Lahaina Harbor, just minutes away from wherever you stay in Maui. The Pacific winds carry her over the incredibly blue Hawaiian water between the islands of Maui, Lanai and Molokai.
Two Tradewind Sails Daily
This is our trademark performance sail. Our crew recreates the thrill of America's Cup racing. Hawaii's trade winds make afternoon sailing truly world class. Take the helm yourself or help with the sails if conditions permit. And the views are spectacular, so bring your camera. Plus in season you'll probably see Humpback Whales, too.
Evening Tradewind Sail (Departure adjusted seasonally for sunset)
Don't just watch the sunset — be part of it. Heighten the romance of Maui's sunsets by sailing Hawaii's incredible blue waters — for an evening you'll never forget.

The crew told us that we were to be back by 2:10. When we showed up, they said that the boat had left without us, and asked why we were not at the designated meeting place, which was under a tree. We explained that we were never told where to wait, and that 2 of us had heard them say to be back by 2:10pm. the woman who was working that day was quite rude and somehwat hostile.

Excellent value, found it hard to hold on for entire time while on starboard (high)side on starboard tack in trade winds. Boating shoes/sneaks should be allowed otherwise somehwat painfull.
