My entire family loved everything about the safari combo. The kayaking was great because you learned about the trees, fish, legends, everything around you. The zipline was great because it's a thrill sliding above the trees! And the hike was great because you learned even more about this beautiful island. The guides were fun and knowledgeable. Make sure you take some extra money for a tip, though. We didn't know about that and felt bad at the end because we didn't have cash on us! They were soooo worth it!! And the luau at Smith's? Unbelievable! The absolute best luau I've ever been to.
My only suggestion and this is a time problem, is being able to do the zipline more than once. It was a blast!
It was really fun, had a great experience.
The zipline safari and the luau combo was a bit much for one day... we decided to move the luau to another night. We were tapped out after the 8 a.m. to 330 p.m. tour. Overall the tour was very good. I thought they could have reduced the time we spent on the tractor riding around...we would have liked to have a little more time swimming at the waterfall. It was fun though.
The crew was Awesome and provided a fantastic experience!
There was another group ahead of us at the zip line and we had to wait about 1/2 hr. for them to finish. It would have been better to have the groups scheduled so there is no overlap. Also, the zipline is very short and pretty boring in comparison to other zip lines. Would recommend an upgrade. The guides were great (especially Elvis) A little more time at Kipu Falls would have been appreciated. That was the kids favorite part of their entire stay on Kauai.
