Kauai Nature Tours - Paddling Wailua River, Jungle Sream, Waterfall Hike Tour

Hike, kayak and paddle the Wailua Valley, a beautiful and historic jungle stream, deep into the heart of the island. Where the river gets shallow, we'll tie our kayaks to a tree and take a one-mile hike up the valley to a 130-foot waterfall with a pool at the bottom where swimming is encouraged!

Enjoy a water's edge picnic lunch including your choice of either a Smoked Turkey Watercress Wrap or a Mediterranean Veggie Wrap, pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookie before we hike back down to the kayaks for more fun paddling.

Wailua Valley Waterfall Wonderland

Enjoy wading or swimming in a pool below a cascading waterfall that has the power to part your hair for the duration of your stay!

Get a taste of native and exotic botanical wonders, and learn of Hawaiian culture and geologic history, a fantasyland of Hawaiian deep jungle scenery. All this in addition paddling, hiking and swimming.

Check-in Times:
- Morning checkin at 7:45am, return at 3:00pm
- Afternoon checkin at 11:00am, return at 6:00pm
Schedule: Monday through Saturday
Children: No children under 5 years allowed. 5-12 pay reduced rate

Restrictions: Somewhat strenuous hike so must be in decent physical condition.

What to Wear and Bring: Swimwear, windbreaker or light rain coat; footwear with aggressive tread for muddy conditions (example: Teva type sandals with heel straps or aqua socks with tread), sunscreen, hat, bug spray, waterproof camera.
