Kayaking Tours, Kauai, Hawaii - Wailua River, Jungle Stream & Waterfall Hike. Hike and paddle the Wailua Valley, a beautiful and historic jungle stream, deep into the heart of the island. Where the river gets shallow, we'll tie our kayaks to a tree and take a one-mile hike up the valley to a 130-foot waterfall with a pool at the bottom where swimming is encouraged!

Enjoy a water's edge picnic lunch including your choice of either a Smoked Turkey Watercress Wrap or a Mediterranean Veggie Wrap, pasta salad and a chocolate chip cookie before we hike back down to the kayaks for more fun paddling.

Wailua Valley Waterfall Wonderland
Enjoy wading or swimming in a pool below a cascading waterfall that has the power to part your hair for the duration of your stay!

Get a taste of native and exotic botanical wonders, and learn of Hawaiian culture and geologic history, a fantasyland of Hawaiian deep jungle scenery. All this in addition paddling, hiking and swimming.

Tour Times:
- Morning checkin at 7:45am, return at 3:00pm
- Afternoon checkin at 11:00am, return at 6:00pm
Schedule: Monday through Saturday
Children: No children under 5 years allowed. 5-12 pay reduced rate
Restrictions: Somewhat strenuous hike so must be in decent physical condition.
What to Wear and Bring: Swimwear, windbreaker or light rain coat; footwear with aggressive tread for muddy conditions (example: Teva type sandals with heel straps or aqua socks with tread), sunscreen, hat, bug spray, waterproof camera.

My trip with Outfitter to Kyak and hike was excellent. Our tour guide, Devin, was very knowledgeble on history of Kaui, geological area, plants and other living species. I was very impress with his ability to guide and lead our trip. I will definately recommend this trip to all my friends.

Our guide was very knowledgeable. He knew the area like the back of his hand,and he informed us of the history of the island, the legends and the trees and plants, and how they came to be in kauai

Mark was our guide and was very knowlegable and fun we would use him again and would do this package again as well as refer others. although their lunch (wraps) did suck.

Josh was our group leader, and did an amazing job giving detailed information on everything from Hawaiian culture to native and non-native plant life. Our extended hike was an added adventure that everyone loved. Great lunch!
