Get ready to depart from Port Allen Harbor on a super adventure to Kauai's legendary Na Pali Coast and the "Forbidden Isle" of Niihau. This premiere cruise aboard "HoloHolo," a 65-foot power catamaran, begins with a continental breakfast as you head northwest to the majestic Na Pali coast with spectacular views of waterfalls, lush valleys and sea caves. After sightseeing and hearing the history of the coast, you'll head across the Kaulakahi Channel to the "Forbidden Island" Niihau.

Niihau's "Old" age means it has been shaped and carved by ocean currents and waves the longest of any major Hawaiian Island.

When we arrive at Niihau, we first select our snorkel spot depending on current conditions. Our caring crew will assist and instruct you in snorkeling. In the water you can relax, float and watch the comings and goings of the aquatic world. No other place in Hawaii offers you such unique formations.

Lunch, Lounge and Learn

After snorkeling, enjoy a gourmet deli-style buffet lunch. Choose from a variety of deli meats, cheeses, veggies and breads to make a sandwich work of art. Also includes potato salad, pasta and fresh fruits. Assorted soft drinks are served throughout the tour, and beer and wine are served after snorkeling. While you lunch we talk story about the island, the people and history of Niihau.

Time: Check-in 6:00am, return by approximately 1:45pm
Location: Departs Port Allen Harbor for Na Pali and Niihau

Perhaps there could be posters on the boat with pictures of the various ocean life found around the island. That way, people could refer to the species by name, not by the color of the fish. Overall, though, it was a superb trip with an extremely informative crew.
