Horseback Ride in Kauai at Silver Falls Ranch. Saddle up for a Kauai's North Shore horseback adventure on some of Kauai's most lush and beautiful trails. Silver Falls Ranch stable is located on 400 acres nestled into the interior high valley of Kalihiwai Ridge on Kauai's beautiful North Shore.
The riding trails are among the most lush and beautiful on the island and well suited for horseback activity for all levels of riding experience. No previous riding experience is necessary, instructors and trailguides will assist all guests based on their past exposure to horses.
Kauai Horseback Riding
1½-Hour Leisurely Trail Ride
Explore many peaceful settings on this approximately 1½-hour ride. Ride beside winding streams, through paperbark rainforests and among the wild orchids, guavas and other lush foliage.
Enjoy fantastic views along the base of Mount Namahana. This ride also includes a beverage service upon your return.
2 & 3 Hours of Riding, Swimming, plus Picnic!
Ride to a natural mountain pool and a lovely waterfall that sparkles silver in the sunlight. Experience the fragrance of yellow ginger as the trade winds refresh you with their delicate breeze. We bring the picnic lunch, and our guests bring their swimsuits and appetite! You'll spend approximately half time in the saddle, and half the time at falls.

It was a fun afternoon trail riding at the Silver Falls stables. However, it might have also been fun to to do some independent riding as well. Two more people were added to our group (they did not have reservations) and that added another wrangler to come with us. A smaller group might have been better, I think, but overall it was a wonderful experience and we would not hesitate to call them again and reserve another spot with them again!
