Horseback Riding in Kauai - Enjoy an unforgettable Kauai horseback experience on a 2500-acre working cattle ranch, one of Hawai’i’s oldest. Your hosts are a 5th generation kama‘aina island family. Their knowledgeable staff share local history, culture, and horsemanship as you ride top quality trail horses and bask in the special features Kaua‘i’s spectacular North shore can offer.

Time on horseback is one hour, round trip; waterfall swim and picnic lasts one hour. Hiking time is 30 minutes. The hike is rated moderate—some steep up and down with a rock wall climb and feet immersed in two stream crossings. Total tour duration is 3 hours.

Group & Private Rides
This unique Kauai horseback adventure begins with 30 minutes on our gentle horses, soaking up breathtaking views of mountains, valleys and the ocean. After tying up the horses, you’ll hike up and down a short, steep trail with steps and rope handholds, winding through the jungle to a secluded waterfall

Explore the falls and swim in the fern-lined pool; then enjoy a delicious picnic lunch and relax (3-hour rides only). Then hike back up along a different trail, complete with a small rock climb, stream crossings and yet another incredible waterfall. Your adventure ends with a leisurely ride across open pastures.

Horseback Tour Fee Includes:
• Experienced CPR & first aid certified guides
• Delicious picnic: grilled chicken or veggie wrap, potato chips & chocolate chip cookie (3-hour rides only)
• Drinking water ONLY
What to Bring:
• Closed toed, secure, covered shoes and long pants are required
• Towel, insect repellent, sunscreen, hat
• Wear a swimsuit under your clothing.

Schedule: Monday-Saturday. Closed Sunday.
Check-in: - Group Waterfall Picnic 8:00am, 9:00am, 12:00pm & 1:00pm
- 2-Hour Private 9:30am
- 3-Hour Private Ride 12:30pm
Duration: 2 ½ or 3 ½hours
Location: Departure from near Princeville
Children: No children under 8. Children 8 & older in good physical condition pay same price as adults.
Requirements: All participants must be in good physical condition. Maximum weight 250 pounds. Maximum height 6’8”. No pregnant women!

Note: Tours go out rain or shine. In the event of extremely inclement weather, tours will be re-scheduled.
