We had a wonderful time! The guides were so great. I would do this again.
This was the best tour!
We found our guide very knowledgeable about the islands history. We also loved the fact that he knew all the "picture points" that made our "take home" memories wonderful. The CD that we purchased at the end of the tour was extraordinary. They not only had numberous pictures of our personal tour, but sites that we saw around the island that we didn't have a chance to photograph. Love the whole experience.
The only comment is that once we hit the mud we were all freezing. Long sleeves may have been a little better.
The ONLY issue we had was the actual waterfall. It was nothing but water coming out of a pipe. That was very disappointing. I will not refer this one for that reason only.
This was well-run, very safe, well-equipped, and definitely worth the money. The mid-trip cookie and bottled water was appreciated as well. The ATVs worked well, they gave us head socks to keep the helmets cleaner, and they were certainly necessary as a breathing filter for dust. This was a great trip. I have already recommended this and HawaiiActive specifically to many people (approx) 25 who are planning to come back in 2 years (with us). You did good!!
