Big Island Zip Line Eco Adventures
The experience of a lifetime awaits you amidst some of the worlds most spectacular scenery the unspoiled, breathtaking mountains and gulches of North Kohala, overlooking the incredible Pololu Valley. Zip through 500 acres of old-growth ironwood and albizia forests. Winds and waters have carved in volcanic geology, luscious pools and waterfalls cascading through these ancient forests.
Low-Impact Eco Tour
Ziplines were constructed in a low-impact fashion, so as not to damage any trees. The use of guava underbrush for handrails, and recycled wood from a local dealer allowed building aesthetically pleasing and safe platforms and bridges. These unique structures were designed artistically, and with safety as the biggest priority.
On your personalized guided tour, you will soar high above lush gulches on 8 exhilarating runs crisscrossing tropical ravines. A 200 ft suspension bridge over a beautiful fern grotto summons your courage as you make your way across! At our Mango Hut you will enjoy lite locally made snacks and actually zip out of the hut to finish the tour with unparalleled views of the Waianaia Gulch and the Pacific.

The number 8 zip should have a running start like number. The number 7 zip was the highlight of the tour. I think the tree in the way on the number 8 zip is a safety issue and by extending the platform to allow a running start will reduce the safety issue.

Possible some sort of disposable liners in the helmets. Not comfortable wearing others headgear, wondering if they might have lice... Shannon and MaiTai our guides were a delight. We had a great time!!

Vernon and Braxton, our guides, were two of the most fun people we met on the island. They are what made this trip on the zip-lines what it was, AWESOME! They kept us safe while letting, and encouraging us to, have fun. Their knowledge of local plant life and history was incredible. Most people on the mainland don't know that much about where they live.

We had such a terrific time. We both have a fear of heights, and our tour guides were so great we had no problem having a marvelous time. We were so sorry when it ended, we were having so much fun.
