My family enjoyed the food and the show. Be sure to stay for the fire dancer finale!
The bar closed earlier than expected. I had trouble with lack of variety with children's drinks.
This was the second time we have been to this luau. It is really great.
We had a delightful evening. The entire staff treated our party with the warmth of your island. Allowing the dancers pose for pictures after the show was a hit with everyone. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
don't let it rain
This sort of activity is always a bit cheesy, so it was not surprising that this was on the "night club" side. We would have preferred an evening with more hawaiian dances and information, perhaps something with a selection of dances from around the islands and a more rustic selection of music and dance. We had seen a free performance the day before at a shopping centre on the island (with many of the same dancers) that was much more to our liking, as it gave more information about the islands themselves. The luau was fun, but was drawn from a lot of other polynesian islands with (as I recall) only a single Hawaiian dance. While it was a classic, we would have liked more variety and information.
I was disappointed with the length of the show-it was much shorter than others I remembered seeing-although it was excellent!
