Hiking on Mauna Loa gives you a chance to be up close and personal with native Hawaiian flora. The flora isn’t the only special part of paradise. Hawaii’s native fauna has it’s amazing ways as well. The way native Hawaiians lived and worked according to the circle of life are amazing storys to take home to tell the rest of your family or friends. Learning the history of the native birds and the land you walk on will show you the connection the people of Hawaii had and still has till this day.
Hiking tours are easy to moderate and about 3 hrs long. Lite Island made snacks are provided half way through the tour at a break spot where you can touch, smell and Sync into the sounds of the forest.

What to Bring: Guests must wear closed-toe walking shoes. Pants, capris, or knee length shorts, and a light sweatshirt or jacket are recommended. Bring water to keep yourself hydrated
Restrictions: * Strollers are not allowed
Must be able to walk over uneven terrain and handle one short climb.
