Choose the "Top of the Mountain" ride and you'll take an unforgettable journey onto a working 12,000 acre cattle and sheep ranch where the breathtaking beauty of historic North Kohala will unfold before your eyes.

Panoramic views of the mountains and coastline, stately cinder cones, ancient ruins and lush pastures dotted with grazing sheep and cattle. This is open range riding and caters to individual riding abilities. Experienced riders can choose to experience cantering if desired. Experienced paniolo guides and well trained horses provide maximum safety for beginners and maximum flexibility for experts.

Waipio Valley Horseback Experience

On the "Valley of the Kings" ride feel the mystical, spiritual Mana (Hawaiian for Power) of this amazing sacred valley. Our experienced paniolo guides take you on a journey through a lush tropical paradise of jungle trails, freshwater streams, taro fields, magnificent waterfalls and incredible vistas.

Available Monday through Saturday
• Morning 2½-hour ride, check-in 9:00am (includes 4x4 transportation)
• Travel Time to Check-in Location:
      From Hilo - 1.5 hrs
      From Waikoloa - 1.5 hrs
      From Kona - 2 hrs

Maximum weight: 230 lbs. or less
Required: Long pants, solid closed-toe shoes, light jacket or cover-up
Children: No children under 8. Book children 8 & older as adults.
