Learn About Humpback Whales!
Guests enjoy a scenic coastal cruise while our naturalist, Jonathan Opey, shares his knowledge through lectures, visuals, and firsthand commentary. During the three-hour expedition, learn about the history and development of the humpback whales and about Hawaii's ancient connection to these gentle underwater giants through the Hawaiian kumulipo (creation chants).
Opey will also interpret the humpback whale's behavior in the chilly coasts of Alaska, where they feed, and in the warm waters of Hawaii, where they mate and give birth. Fresh organic fruits, gourmet potato chips, and tropical juice are included. A no host bar is open during the cruise.
