This the least expensive helicopter tour of the volcanos, but requires a minimum 2-hour drive from the Kailua-Kona (west) side to the Hilo (east) side. Plan on spending the day on the east side, perhaps with a drive to Hawaii Volcanoes National Park for a ground-level experience, too.
