Downhill mountain biking at Volcanoes National Park. Explore Kilauea Volcano, from its summit to the sea. From lush ancient Hawaiian rainforests to dynamic lava landscapes, you will experience a variety of microclimates and huge craters.
1 - Summit to Sea Downhill Volcano Bike
Begin by biking around the rim of the summit crater on trails and paved roads. After leaving the summit crater we head though the lush native Hawaiian Rain Forest. Here you will see a variety of other craters as well as getting a chance to walk through the Nahuku Lava Tube. Course continues to wind its way through the rainforest and ends at the top of Craters Road.

2 - Kilauea Volcano Ride & Wine Tasting
After leaving the summit crater we will head though the lush native Hawaiian Rain Forest. The total mileage of the tour is 15 miles on mostly downhill and level terrain. We will take the last 4 miles to the coast by van and have lunch.
To top off this majestic adventure enjoy a
wine tasting session at the Volcano Winery as an
extra bonus experience with your tour.

3 - Bike to Pele - Volcano Lava flow Adventure
Starts by biking along a coastal country road through tropical jungles.
Once we reach the village of Kalapana, which was destroyed in the 1991 lava flow, we go out to visit the famous Black Sand Beach created in from that lava flow. We will also have a hot dinner there before we hike into the active flow area. Our finish line is the active lava flow, where we will enjoy the twilight sunset viewing.

All riders should bring: Close-toed shoes!
Layered clothing (sweatshirt, pants, shorts, and T-shirt);
Sunscreen & sunglasses
